Answer - (a) the mass of one mole of carbon

Solution - avagadro no = 6.023 x 1023 , i,e the no. of carbon atoms in 1 mole of C

i,e 1 mole =  6.023 x 1023  atoms = 12g of C

thus, 6.023 x 1020  atoms =$12\times{6.023\times10^{20}\over6.023\times10^{23}}$

                                               = 0.012g
