The displacement time graph of a particle executing SHM is given in figure : (sketch is schematic and not to scale)

Which of the following statements is/are true for this motion ?

(A) The force is zero at t = $3T\over4$

(B) The acceleration is maximum at t = T

(C) The speed is maximum at t = $T\over4$

(D) The P.E. is equal to K.E. of the oscillation at t = $T\over2$

(1) (B), (C) and (D)

(2) (A) and (D)

(3) (A), (B) and (D)

At t = 3T/4,

Particle is at mean position,

Thus F=0

Now at t=T,

Particle is at extreme position,

Thus acceleration would be maximum

Finally, at t=T/4,

Particle is again at mean position,

Thus speed will be maximum

So, the correct option is (4)
